Hi! I’m Clàudia Mata Serra, a freelance illustrator based in Catalonia (Spain), specialized in middle grade and children’s books.
I create expressive characters and atmospheric scenes, combining watercolor and digital techniques to bring stories to life. My work is strongly influenced by Mediterranean light and everyday storytelling.
My author-illustrated project Floc was shortlisted for the international dPICTUS Unpublished Picturebook Showcase 2024.
I also create comics under the name @dinacomics, where I explore storytelling through humor and daily life.
I’m available for publishing and editorial projects.
